Newest 2012 blooms on the way!!

Good morning Sunshine!
Just a quickie as I have to get ready for work.  So excited about my newest blooms!! I've added my hydrangea blooms this morning for your viewing pleasure.  I am so proud of my pink hydrangea.  This is the first blooming year for them.  There are actually two plants that I dug up two years ago from the mother plant.  I kept them in pretty pots for the past two seasons and this Spring, I planted them in the ground on our property.  The first blooms opened up last week while we were vacationing in sunny Florida.
I have more pix to upload as I create the time.  Glads are opening up, my first dahlia's will soon burst forth into a magnificent array of color, my gardenia is filling the air with its incredible aroma, and my day lilies are on the verge!
Gotta run for now! Remember to get snap happy with your own camera!!
Take care! Love ya! Nan

Find the face in the iris

Just uploaded some pix I recently shot after a wonderfully, soft rain shower.  I've posted an amazing photo of an iris with rain drops on it and I discovered an incredible face in the flower!!!  I'm that kind of person who can see faces amongst photos, in the trees, in pretty much any place I focus on for a moment. It's like the faces jump off the true image I'm observing at the time.  Not to mention, there is a real fly  sitting on the flower, as well.  This is an iris plant that my sister gave me last year and I am enjoying its first blooms in my own yard.  Needless to say, I didn't see the face as I took the photo.  It was only a few minutes ago when I uploaded the photos from my camera to the computer that I discovered the face in the iris. Awesome!

It's shaping up to be an awesome Spring!!

Just had to sit down long enough to post these newest photos! I am excited! It is shaping up to be a terrific Spring for our blooms!  We had a good growing rain last night and the flowers look awesome!  I will be posting my amaryllis blooms in the next week or so.  There are seven stems!! This means that I should have about 24 blooms altogether!!  Can't wait to see them!  Plus, I have planted my first ever dahlias and they are up and growing!! I will have several different colors.
Gotta get up and get out of here and on the road to my office!! Happy growing and get snap happy with your own camera!  Don't miss even one opportunity to shoot God's amazing creations!!  :)

Shutterbug's Delight

Hi!
It's my pleasure to bring some of God's great beauties to you.  The photos I share with you were all taken by myself with one exception.  The photo of the rose in the Biltmore Rose Garden was taken by my husband, Allen.
I am thrilled to share these photos with you.  If it were possible, I would have hand picked them and brought them to you personally.  The next best way to give them to you is by posting them on this blog.
God wants us all to share in the beauty of the flowers He created.  It is my honor and delight to share them with you.  So, sit back and enjoy the show!
I would love to hear from you as to which ones are your favorite and why.  Please do comment as you are lead to do so.
Thanks!!  Nan
